Registration

If you plan to attend the ceremony, please register yourself and any guests via the Graduation Services System (GSS) no later than 11:59pm on 9 November 2022 (Wed), after which time no registrations or further seating requests will be accepted.  No late registration or walk-in will be accommodated.

Guest Tickets

Participating graduates can bring a maximum of two guests to their ceremony. These guests would need a Ceremony Guest Ticket to enter the venue.  As spaces in the hall are limited, guest seats will be assigned on a first-come-first-served basis. Should there be any overflow, guests can view a live broadcast of the event from a seat in Lecture Theater L at the Cheng Yu Tung Building next door.

You may also register Campus Access Guest Ticket for your guests who cannot join the ceremony but may wish to take photos with you on campus during the event day. 

Graduate Tickets

For graduates attending different sessions, please check out what type of ticket do you need:

Degree Conferment Sessions (Session 1 – 3)

• For PhD graduates

For PhD graduates attending a Degree Conferment Session, you should collect a Graduate Ticket (aka Name Card) at Foyer at Shaw Auditorium (near south gate) before proceeding to the ceremony.  You will need this ticket so your name can be read out when you proceed onto stage. To collect the ticket, you should present the “Stage Sequence Number” to be emailed to you in the Arrival Kit before the event day. Please refer below for the Graduate Ticket collection period.  

• For Masters & Bachelors

For Masters & Bachelors* attending a Degree Conferment Session, you will receive your Graduate e-ticket with QR code in the Arrival Kit we will send you before the event.  You may simply present the e-ticket at the entrance of the Shaw Auditorium for admission to the venue.  

*Except the recipients of Academic Achievement Medal who should collect a Graduate Ticket (aka Name Card) at the Graduate Collection Counter at Foyer at Shaw Auditorium (near south gate) before proceeding to the ceremony (please see collection schedule below).  
 

School-based Sessions (Session 4 – 21)

For graduates attending the School-based Session, you should collect a Graduate Ticket (aka Name Card) at Foyer at Shaw Auditorium (near south gate) before proceeding to the ceremony.  You will need this ticket so your name can be read out when you proceed onto stage. To collect the ticket, you should present the “Stage Sequence Number” to be emailed to you in the Arrival Kit before the event day. Please refer below for the Graduate Ticket collection period.
